In 2016, Douglas County voters voted down the indexed gas tax, separate from the nickel gas tax implemented in January 2016, which would have addressed a multitude of issues. It could only be used for road and highway projects and maintenance, but it was soundly defeated. The county is doing what they can, with the yield turn arrow at Buckeye Road and 395 and the roundabout on Buckeye Road.
Our plan is providing a 2 1/2 mile stretch right through the heart of our ranch, more than 77 acres, to provide land to build Muller Parkway. We’re doing our part to contribute to easing traffic through downtown by connecting Gardnerville near Stodieck Park to the existing Muller Parkway outlet on 395 north of Minden.
